But I'd much rather spend time painting than updating my website with what I'm up to. I posted several things in the last week and there are more to come - I'm excited about the direction my work is taking - and I've learned a lot - both from trial and error and from experts. Trial and error is more painful, but the lessons last longer. Here's a sneak preview of paintings I'll be posting soon - Shelter from Chaos, Three Trees, and The Purple Rose of Glenville. The canvases are 1.5 inches thick, and I have learned a lot about treating the edges. I heartily endorse Frogtape for keeping the edges white while painting or for protecting the painting while creating art on the edges. Or on the edge - that's me!
